This exquisite Asian-inspired dish brings together tender beef, sliced into paper-thin pieces, and the unique crunch of canned lotus root, creating a harmonious symphony of textures and tastes that will tantalize your senses.

To prepare this delectable dish, we start by marinating the thinly sliced beef in a delightful blend of light soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, fresh ginger, and five spice powder. The marinade infuses the beef with savory goodness, enhancing its natural flavors and ensuring a tender, juicy bite in every mouthful.

Once the beef is perfectly seasoned, we heat up the peanut oil in a wok or large frying pan and stir-fry the garlic until it releases its aromatic fragrance. Next, we add the marinated beef, tossing it over high heat until it undergoes a beautiful color transformation, locking in the rich flavors.

To add a delightful twist to the dish, we incorporate the sliced lotus root, a unique ingredient that brings a satisfying crunch and mild sweetness to the ensemble. The combination of beef and lotus root creates a captivating medley of textures and tastes that will leave you craving more.

To elevate the dish further, we introduce beef stock and the cornflour mixture to create a thick, savory gravy that coats the beef and lotus root, intensifying the overall flavor profile. The result is a delectable stir-fry that pairs perfectly with steamed white rice, making it a complete and satisfying meal.

Prepare to be enchanted by the irresistible allure of Beef with Lotus Root. Each mouthful offers a delightful journey through the flavors and textures of Asian cuisine, making it a perfect addition to your culinary repertoire.
